The Hotel Stay Is Finalised!

You intelligent girls must be figured out from the title of this post that it's finalised!!

Before I place my booking, here are the details of the stay:

Day: 28 July 2007 Saturday (Any violent objections let me know asap!)
Venue: Copthorne Orchid Hotel
Address: 214 Dunearn Road Singapore 299526

According to Can, she said it's like a few bus stops away from Far East Plaza, i.e: close to town. I like! HAHA!


Here's how the hotel looks..



This is where we are going to stay in.. The Superior Plus Room


The cost: SGD$176.55 inclusive of taxes which amount to SGD$26.55.

Not too bad at all huh? I am pretty proud of myself for finding this deal. Let's hope the pictures are not deceiving or I'm so going to complain to CASE!

Plus, I propose this place to dine at which sounds pretty fab. Only problem, it's all the way at Bugis. It's called Indulgz. Check out their website. The food sounds totally yummy yet affordable!




















Ok let's get back to business. Here's the lowdown.

• Chris got church to attend at Expo on Sat and it will end at about 8. So I propose that she join us for dinner straight.


• Fen got dance practice on Sunday morning so she will have to check out earlier.

Anybody else got plans for us to fit in? We'll make sure everybody's plans are well weaved into this hotel stay. Meanwhile, I've got some duties for you girls to help out.

• 1 lady in charge of Dinner reservation (I so don't want 7 girls clad in their best to be standing in a queue. So unglam). It need not be at the place I suggested but we just need to a semi-formal place to go to where we all can dress up to the nines and not look like idiots.
• 1 lady in charge of Activities planning - Are we going clubbing, playing board games, or chilling (I want LOOF)?
• 1 lady in charge of Money $$$ - Fen is doing that. Please do the transfering of moolah asap! Refer to Fen's blog post
• 1 lady in charge of deco/room supplies - Sparkling water? Potato chips? Flowers? You decide. Since we're pampering ourselves, we might as well go all out!
• 1 lady in charge of presents allocation
• 1 lady in charge of getting a kick-ass cake and photography

Presents Allocation: Basically, this stay is a LONG overdue celebration of the following events

1. Candace's 21st whom we missed
2. Christmas 2006
3. Shirley's 22nd (only me and Fen were free to celeb it last min)
4. Chris's 22nd
5. Caryn's 22nd
6. Fen's 22nd (celebrations checked. presents not checked)
7. Shuhui's 22nd
8. (apparently) My 22nd

YUPS! That's a hella long list of events. So we suggested that with the exception of Can's 21st, 1 person should get a present for another (budget: 30-40 buckaroos) on behalf of the group. As for Can's 21st, we'll get her something bigger together (20 bucks per person).

So the laydee in charge of pressie will have to coordinate everyone's wishlist i.e: what do you want? After getting hold of what everyone wants, this laydee will have to allocate 1 present giver to 1 present recipient.

Cake: Kick-ass is not measured by size! We can't finish too massive a cake! But, the laydee getting the cake need to get a scrumplicious tasting cake (claim from Fen's pool of $$) and prepare ~7 candles for each person. Oh, please make sure the photos are loaded online! :)

Ok, this marks the end of my v long-winded post. PLS let me know what you are going to be in charge of.
